Job Title: Sales Manager

Responsible to: Global Sales Director

 Location / Area: South East England (Beds, Bucks, Herts, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London, Sussex, Surrey, Kent)

Basic Salary: £35-45k dependant on candidate calibre and experience

Bonus Scheme: Details TBA at interview stage

Principle Responsibilities: You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability. Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.

  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

  • Keep your customers happy - ensure you are part of the reason why they choose to support our business

  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

  • Perform ‘needs analysis’ of existing customers via structured business meetings where product trends are discussed, and new product lines are outlined and proposed

  • Resolve customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction and retain customer loyalty

  • Rolling analysis of the territory market’s potential. Highlight key sales trends and provide forecasts to the Sales Director on a monthly basis

  • Reach out to potential new customer through cold calling/social media platforms

  • Work closely with team members and other departments

  • Track and manage a project from initial enquiry through to post installation feedback – all information logged on our CRM system

  • Supply your Sales Director / Marketing Dept and New Product Development team with reports/feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and the potential for new products and services

  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

  • Continuously improve through feedback – appraisals/joint visits/team meetings

Ideal Candidate: You are a confident, structured, results-driven sales manager who enjoys to actively seek out and engage with new customer prospects whilst maintaining /evolving your existing customer portfolio. A genuine desire to create and then deliver first class customer solutions and service back up, is what the role is all about. Having a friendly, upbeat outlook on life/work will be viewed in a very positive light by your customers and everybody internally.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years’ successful sales experience as a sales representative/manager (ideally within the HVAC, Building Services or Construction supplier industries)

  • Highly motivated and driven with a proven track record in exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

  • Prioritising, time management and organisational skills

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office along with a level of familiarity CRM practices
