Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Responsible to: National Sales Manager

 Location / Area: Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire (OX, WF, HP, HA, UB, TW, KT, SL, RG, GU, SO, PO)

Basic Salary: Negotiable dependant on candidate calibre & experience

Principle Responsibilities: You will be responsible for growing the business with both existing and new customers.

It is expected that in excess of 75% of your time will be focused on both National and Independent Electrical Wholesalers looking to grow existing stockist and establish new partners.

You will work with the wholesaler’s internal and external team to grow sales both across the trade counter and by external sales.

Ideal Candidate: You will be an experienced sales professional with a solid knowledge of how the electrical industry operates, whether that is gained from working for a wholesaler or manufacturer.

You will be professionally presented, strongly self-motivated and have a positive attitude towards both your work and personal life.

You will be confident in front of customers and able to communicate at all levels from the Branch Manager / Owner to the trade counter.

A good general knowledge of lighting products and applications would be seen as a real advantage but is not essential.
