Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Responsible to: National Sales Manager - Distribution

 Location / Area: South West & S. Wal (BA, BH, BS, CF, DT, EX, GL, GY, JE, NP, PL, SA, SN, SO, SP, TA, TQ, TR)

Basic Salary: Negotiable dependant on candidate calibre and experience

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Managing our distribution customers within the defined sales territory.

  • Visit end users such as panel builders to promote / sell our wide range of enclosures.

  • Identify and exploit sales opportunities within our existing accounts.

  • Provide support and conduct demos, training and installation for our TIPS system (Thermal Identification Printing System).

  • Ensure that the business has a good network of electrical wholesale stockists within the sales territory.

  • Identify, target and convert potential business to new client accounts.

  • Target major construction projects and major electrical contractors in order to generate ‘pull through’ sales at our key distributors.

  • Implement business distribution strategy.

  • In conjunction with Industry managers, report on activities and potential industry focused business.

  • Achieve sales targets and deliver substantial year on year sales growth.
